Hi, Friends! This is my Update for May 4th, 2010. We have had the tornado warnings and they hit Reelfoot Lake not far from me. A hug limb fell onto the roof of our carport. We had three days of tornado warnings. We made it through the storms. Then yesterday, three of our levees broke and another is about to break. I've had no rest in 4 days at all. FEMA has been called in. We have been declared State of Emergency by Officials. They told us to prepare for the worst. We are at 27 foot of water all the way around us. There is no way in or out of our city. The River is flowing through our streets at a rapid rate of speed. Too strong for the boats to travel and washing down electricity poles now headed for our main power supply. There is no telling how long we will be without power. Should the Fourth Levee break, we are already surrounded by 27 foot high of water up to rooftops of homes and businesses all of the way around us. There is no way in or out of our city. Should the Levee break we will have to be rescued by helicopter. The home we was going to move to is completely under raging water. The home we did move to that God lead us to, is "not" under water. We are Four streets over from it and will have to evaccuate if the levee breaks. We have Ten dogs and I will not leave them. We are trusting God and praying~because I know he has us in this house for a reason. He didn't bring us this far to leave us!~He didn't lift us up to let us down! I know we can trust in God no matter what happens around us!!!! We are standing on his promises and on total Faith!!!! Praise God! No matter what we are faced with, no matter how bad things may appear to be~we have to look up and know that His will shall and will be done. He will not take us before our time on this earth is over! Should it be my time~I pray to leave here with God!~Amen. May God protect us All.
